At Kids’ City we believe that all children and young people need to play and we want people with energy, commitment and a sound up to date knowledge of the play process to add to our successful organisation.

We have positions available for staff to work three, four or five days per week (Mon-Wed/Thu/Fri).  Our service runs between 3pm and 6pm and staff work three hours per day during term time with overtime being available during the holiday playscheme periods.

We currently run clubs in Fifteen primary schools in Lambeth, Wandsworth, Merton, Hounslow and Wokingham and all our staff receive accredited training to help them develop in their role.  More detailed information is available in each job description.

Breakfast Club Assistant – Kids’ City at Tooting, London, SW17 8HC, rates from £8.50 – £10.50 per hour, 5 hours per week, Part-time

The Breakfast Club Assistant will work with the Breakfast Club Manager at our Tooting branch to ensure that the service takes place according to prevailing legislation, that children are safe and happy and that educational or recreational activities take place. They will help to work as part of the local team and will liaise with the after-school team and the school to ensure the good management and cleaning of the environment, good record keeping and firm financial control.

The Breakfast Club Assistant will be punctual and reliable. This person will be vibrant first thing in the morning and calm and confident. They will be able to execute routine tasks on their own initiative as well as working to the instructions of the Breakfast Club Manager.

Breakfast Club Person in Charge – Kids’ City at Floreat Brentford TW8 0GD, from £11.50 per hour, 5 hours per week, Part-time

The Breakfast Club Person in Charge will oversee the running of the breakfast club to ensure that children are safe and happy during their visit.

Do you have an understanding and commitment to child welfare and safety? Do you have knowledge of child protection procedures? If the answer is yes there is an exciting opportunity for a Breakfast Club Person in Charge at Kids’ City Floreat Brentford.

Diploma/NVQ/CACHE Level 3 in Playwork; Childcare and Education; Health and Social Care; NNEB; BTEC, any other relevant qualification

Breakfast Club Assistant – Kids’ City at Floreat Brentford TW8 0GD, from £7.60 per hour, 5 hours per week, term time only, Part-time

The breakfast Club Assistant will work with the Breakfast Club Person in Charge to ensure that children are safe and happy during their visit.

Kids’ City Playworkers are responsible for running fun and engaging activities for children and ensuring they are safe during their time at the club. Playworker positions are available for three, four or five days per week to work three hours per day between 3pm and 6pm during term time only. Playworkers report to the Club Manager or Deputy and the starting rate is from £7.20 per hour according to qualifications and experience.

Breakfast Club Person in Charge – no positions currently available

The Breakfast Club Person in Charge will work at one of our sites and is responsible for ensuring that the service takes place according to prevailing legislation, that children are safe and happy and that educational or recreational activities take place. They will work as part of the local team and the school to ensure the good management of the service.  They are responsible for maintaining records and a small budget.  This position is five days per week, one hour per day between 8am and 9am during term time only.
