Annual registration fee

This is paid once a year, it pays for your child’s insurance for 12 months at any of our breakfast, after school or holiday playschemes.  The rate is currently £23 per year for all centres.

Attendance fees

There are six types of attendance fees as follows:

1.    Parents Full fee, a flat rate for parents who are paying for their own children. Parents fees are subsidised through grants, donations and in kind support. 2.    Statutory Agencies and Employers Full Fee, a full-cost-recovery rate chargeable to Social Services and other agencies buying our services for a client.  These include through council Childcare Training Grant and Student Access Childcare Fund and Employers or organisations of all types who pay for childcare on behalf of a parent, for whatever reason.

3.    Parents Concessions, for families whose children are eligible for free school meals and some income support benefits. The current rate is £3 in the after-school schemes and £5 in the holiday playschemes. Maximum two places per week.

4.    Staff rates, for our own staff whose children attend the schemes while their parent is on Kids' City duties or training.

5.    Volunteers rates are children FREE to attend when a volunteering adult is on Kids’ City duties or training. An annual registration fee is payable (see above)

6.    EMERGENCY services are only available to families where a child is already registered with us and does not usually attend on that day. Emergency places are currently £11 in the after-school scheme only. 

Individual support for children with special needs

1:1 worker  £15 per hour – includes: 1 support in situ, regular assessments, meetings and reports and all usual scheme provision

Key worker - £20 per hour – time spent outside usual provision for assessments, meetings, reports CAF TAC etc
